A/W2010 Junya Watanabe Runway Hybrid Green Parka

Insanely rare and cool parka from Junya Watanabe’s Autumn/Winter 2010 collection. This coat was featured on the runway and perfectly shows Junya’s approach to hybrid construction. While the front looks relatively simple in a beautiful military green, the back reveals the real highlight: a contrasting plaid wool panel, matching grey wool panels underneath the sleeves, and leather applications on the elbows. Finished with a snap-button closure with a zipper underneath and a beautiful camo inner lining. So many different fabrics and details coming together perfectly in one jacket. Made in Japan.
